The different types of civilization: part 1

According to the Kardeshev scale, there are 7 types of civilizations. We now who produce tonnes of mega-tonnes of electricity are, even now not even a type 1 civilization!. From the 1970’s to the 2000’s we have moved from just a 0.7 to 0.73 type of civilization, even after so many new inventions, and new technologies. If we continue at this rate, we will reach the type 1 civilization by around 2371.

The actual Kardeshev scale, only 3 type of civilizations were there; which was later improved and made into 7 civilizations .For us, according to Kardeshev, will take us at least 9000 years to reach to the type 3 civilization. When the Voyager-1 was launched with our golden recorder and an American astronomer, Carl Sogan, calculated it and gave a reading of 0.7 . From then to now it has only increased to 0.73 .

The type 1 civilization

To become a type-1 civilization, the world will need atleast 300 more years. If we grow at even at a pace of 26% of new energy production, i.e. the amount of energy created by a nuclear reactor in 5 years, will take us 2371 to become a type 1 civilization.

If we master Nuclear fusion faster, we will become a type 1 civilization faster. Nuclear fusion is the reaction which gives birth to stars.

The type 2 civilization

Once we master nuclear fusion, we will be able to move with the speed of light, use the whole energy produced by the sun using a Dyson Sphere. Now , a Dyson sphere is a sphere which will make all the sun’s energy into reusable energy.

The type 2 civilization’s will have that much power as to be able to alter the earth’s orbit, alter the weather of the planets etc.We will be able to move into different galaxies at the speed of light.

The type 3 civilization

To supply the energy needs of the galaxies, we will need to cover the stars of these galaxies in Dyson Sphere’s too. We would have till then learnt a important lesson- our body & light both have limitations. There will be galaxies which are so far that even with the speed of light, we will not be able to reach them in our lifespan.

To make ourselves compatible, we will change our body.
